We are Ark House Sanctuary

We are on a heartfelt mission to save, and support abandoned, mistreated, and senior horses, dogs, and cats. This is an endless task, but for us, we are not only saving animals, we are saving souls.

We will be working with the domestic abuse programs, and provide housing to women and their children, along with pay, in exchange for working on the Ranch. We will be working with local tourism to provide an area where all can come on donations base to participate in the many activities the Ranch will offer. This is a great opportunity to showcase our Sanctuary to a wider audience, and it opens avenues for advertising that we would never be able to buy. Visitors may even go home and sign up to support the Sanctuary with weekly or monthly donations.

Finally, we would open our doors to people with disabilities and Veterans, working closely with therapy groups, to let those that need it most heal.

WHY MEXICO?

Land prices are through the roof in the US, but in Mexico we are able to get 15 acres pennies on the dollar. Also Vet care is very affordable. Mexico also provides us with tourism from all over the world

WORKING WITH KILL SHELTERS IN THE USA

There are way too many animals on death row. We will work to save as many as possible

WORKING WITH USA VETERANS

We are attempting to work with as many veterans’ associations to bring Vets down to not only be with the animals, but participate in other invents like Forging, Glassblowing, or walking the land. We will have a therapist come up once a week, to site and talk with the vets, and help them overcome their struggles.

Outline for Ark House as promised we will be completely transparent

Stage 1

Obtain at least 6 Hectares (this is being done Saturday) Have website finished. Install first cameras so 24 hour feed will be available on YouTube 3million pesos (This stage has already been completed)

Stage 2

Begin building. 1st build 30 kennels, 10 2 bedroom cabins with lofts (6 for employees, 4 for volunteers and guests), Build 10 horse stable, Build round pen, Build 3 large fenced pastures, Build outside restaurant (will be outsourced), Build big pool for dogs, Build horse trails for riding, Build quarantine area for dogs and horses, Build Vet building, so local vet can work on premises. Build labor and delivery area for mamas dogs, Building petting zoo, Build play area including bouncy house, Build train just like van saun park in Jersey, Build Aviery, Finally build my hacienda. Build outside forge, glass blowing, BB Guns, museum, apeiary, pottery area, event area. 1.5 million dollars Buy horse trailer and truck, buy three cars, Buy Huge Van to pick up dogs

Stage 3

Open to the public. Be included on all tourists stops. Charge for entry is donation what you can give. To participate in all activities we would recommend at leat 500 peso donation. ALL KIDS GET a lanyard and card with an apple tag, so we can find them.

Stage 4

Build boutique Hotel for Veterans. Start working with wounded warriors. Have social worker on staff 10 million pesos

Ark House Sanctuary has applied for tax exempt status in Mexico. We are a 501(c)(3) USA Corporation and achieved tax exempt (allowing our donors to deduct their contributions) March 31, 2024.

Many of the animals we help may have belonged to families or are seniors with no one to take care of them in their later years. Some wander our streets in poor health looking for help. No animal deserves this misery or experience, especially if it can be avoided.
